With Football season underway, you know the top players to watch in your area. Below are some unsung heroes who may fly below the radar, but are assests to their team.

Dalton Cosby – Buffalo

Dalton has been a solid contributor throughout his playing career. He has been a great behind the scenes leader and someone that younger players can model themselves after.

John Sturgill – Mooreland

John is a hard worker and his team knows they can count on him at any time. He plays OL and is rock solid. He also plays multiple positions on defense.

Cody Cross – Chisholm

Has been a big part of the program with significant playing time beginning as a sophomore. Plays offensive guard and defensive tackle. Coming off of an ACL repair.

James Kroll - Covington-Douglas

MLB and TE that does the dirty work for his team. Led the team in tackles with 132, but also served as a key blocker from the TE spot. Still had 24 receptions for 242 yards, but primarily is called upon to do the tasks that do not receive the glory.

Kaden Hawk – Hennessey

Has a great attitude and plays multiple positions in football and baseball.

Andrew Wheeler - Kremlin-Hillsdale

Has worked really hard the last three seasons and will play any position he needs to without complaining. He is a "yes sir, no sir" guy who is able to take a good chewing after messing up and then working even harder after without question.
