NW Tech

Cherokee High School senior Jadin Hall is a three-sport athlete and a student at Northwest Technology Center where she takes classes in Digital Design.

“I decided to attend the NW Tech because I wanted something different than the traditional high school. I was automatically drawn to the atmosphere there and just how outgoing and happy everyone is,” said Hall. “I chose Digital Design specifically because I knew it would give me knowledge and experience I could always fall back on later in life.”

Hall is involved in other activities in school including FCCLA, FFA and she’s a student council representative. This winter, Hall has played varsity basketball and she will run track this spring. As a student at NW Tech, Hall said she’s enjoyed meeting new people and building new relationships.

“What I have enjoyed the most is the lifelong friendships I have made through NW Tech. I met one of my closest friends and I have some of the best relationships with the teachers. I know I can come back to the tech at any point and those teachers will always be there for me. They have become some of my biggest supporters,” said Hall.

The senior is making plans for life after high school, which will include college and more basketball.

“After graduation I plan to attend Sterling College on a basketball scholarship as well as work towards a double major in Biology Education and Christian Ministry,” said Hall.

She offers this advice to anyone looking to expand their education while still in high school.

“The advice I would give a student considering NW Tech is just to do it. Even if it’s out of your comfort zone. You will meet some of the best people and receive an even better education. You will learn more than you ever thought you would. I was so nervous about going but I believe it is one of the best choices I have made in my high school education,” said Hall.

During her free time Hall enjoys going to the gym, running, babysitting and being very active in her church.
