In 1954, God gave Oklahoma basketball coach Don McClanen a vision: coaches and athletes impacting lives for Christ. This stirring led to a movement and the founding of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Now, 65 years later, FCA is fulfilling the vision of influence for Christ.

Oklahoma FCA had their 46th All-State Honors Banquet virtually on Sunday, May 3rd honoring four student athletes from northwest Oklahoma. FCA State Director John O’Dell was impressed with the four young people that were chosen to represent northwest Oklahoma.

Kelby Carlson, Enid, Chisholm. Kelby is an officer for her Student Council and National Honor Society. She was a delegate to Oklahoma Girls State and the Oklahoma Association of Student Council Basic and Advanced Camps. Kelby was the State Trap Champion in 2016. Athletically, Kelby participated in softball, basketball, and track. She is a two-time State Track Champion and medaled in team relays two years in a row. After attending Xtreme Camp her junior year, Kelby felt the call to be more bold and has taken Chisholm FCA to a new level. Kelby plans to attend either UCO or OSU.
