These are the top seven softball players in the Woodward Area hub, ranked by Vype editors, regardless of position. Also, check out the Fans Choice winner and runner-up!

 

JadeHazelbaker    JennaBay

 

#1 Tegan Jones (Shattuck) - Tegan is a four year starter and was a part of the 2017 state championship team. She will play a big role this season.

#2 Jade Hazelbaker (Vici) - Jade is the lead off hitter and center fielder. She is incredibly fast, covers a ton of ground on the outfield, and is a threat on the bases every time she puts the ball in play.

#3 Jenna Bay (Shattuck) - Jena is coming off of an ACL injury from basketball last year. She is a great teammate, athlete and competitor.  

#4 Aaliyah Gutierrez (Guymon) - Aaliyah was the leadoff hitter that batted .500 and was also the starting pitcher last season.

#5 Whitley Cash (Laverne) - Whitley is a field leader at catcher. She is a huge asset to her team.

#6 Madison Gartrell (Woodward) - She will play pitcher and utility. Madison has great command and a great attitude. 

#7 Lakin Burrow (Mooreland) - She is one of two seniors for Mooreland this season. She was a statistical leader in most offensive categories. She is a great kid and will be counted on to be a great leader this season.
